All the papers submitted to JTACS undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, affiliated with an institution other then the authors of the paper. At least 60% of reviewers are scientists affiliated with an institution outside of Poland.
Each reviewer is requested to fill in the review form. After receiving the reviews, the decision is made by a section editor and/or editor-in-chief, whether the paper should be accepted, send to the authors for revision, or rejected. The whole process is iterative, i.e. after any major revisions another review might be performed, possibly resulting in another revision request.
The final decision is made by the editor-in-chief, based on the reviews and section editor's recommendation.
